Good service, our server was very patient with our party of six. Most of us had a weird order (I got the veggie omelette without tomatoes and a side of chocolate chip pancakes), and each order was correct. My omelette had fresh veggies and real eggs (I was half expecting canned mushrooms and powder eggs- IHOP has instilled this expectation in me). Pancakes were good too; thick and not too sweet. Perfect hot meal after a cold night camping. Probably worth five stars as far as diners go, but took off a star because the interior is dimly lit and aged.

Food was good, but my breakfast was not hot. Waitress never came to check on our food or ask if we wanted more coffee or anything. Then we get charged extra for Swiss cheese for an omelet that the menu states with cheese. Apparently they charge extra for white cheese. Need to inform customers of extra charges.

Great restaurant right along the main street. Great home cooking. Fantastic captain crunch french toast.

Best breakfast we've had in Deland for a long time. Over medium eggs were perfect.

Ahhh! I got a cheeseburger and fries this morning for breakfast because, after 68 years of serving Deland, this place serves the most awesome old fashioned cheeseburger for miles around! The fries are also fresh cut - none of that frozen junk from a restaurant supply house. Burgers just like from the ‘50s and ‘60s. I can also testify to their eggs Benedict! Their sausage biscuits and gravy. Their chefs salad. Hunters is a staple of Deland and we love it. Enjoy your visit and tip your waitress.
