We had a great experience at RACKS. Their happy hour is great - some of the best things from their menu at discounted prices, and the half off alcohol is a steal! We sat at the bar and enjoyed the staff (Julie took great care of us). The food was delicious. We'd definitely be back on our next trip or recommend to friends.

Overall really good joint with great atmosphere, love sitting halfway outside at the bar under the overhang and watching the bustling going on in Delray. Very attentive bartenders and great service along with dollar oyster happy hour, the oysters are very fresh. They have a charred octopus dish that is off the charts delicious and they make a really good bloody Mary. We’ve been here a few times and just love it. The one thing I’ve noticed is it’s consistently freezing inside the restaurant, so we always sit halfway outside and even then you can feel the ice cold air coming atcha.. I’m from New York City and Colorado so if I say it’s cold, it’s pretty damn cold, Ha !

We we're in the newly renovated visitors center at the Beach and i asked sweet Jeanne where she like to eat. She shot back Racks for Happy Hour Oysters so off we went. Atlantic Avenue, or the Strip, in Delray Beach Ray may have the most every day happy hours I have ever seen. The competition is fierce. Racks does it very well. Check out the menu image. Racks is vibrant with delicious stylized food and professional service. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen was beautiful. The Oysters were excellent, as were the crab cakes and the fish tacos. The sushi had crab with a C and not krab with a K. That was great but you get a lot more in the crab cake.

Although the food looked good I can’t tell from first hand experience because the service was so bad. Although it was St. patty’s day and the place was swamped there is no reason for the server to be rude. The bartender was terrible! He accidentally tossed the credit card of the person he served before us in the trash and was in a crappy mood and took it out on everyone still trying to order a drink. We were waiting for a table but after being treated so offensively we decided to go elsewhere. Go at your own risk.

Everything we tried was very tasty. Service was excellent. Every day 4 to 7 happy hour will keep you smiling.
