Never Found The Dang Place. It Doesn't Exist.

Aug 6, 2016
I think this may be my first ever Google review, and it's because I like this place sooooo much. Very chill atmosphere, delicious food and a lovely view. I could make myself sick eating *all the grilled pineapple*, their steak was expertly done and perfectly complemented by the not-to-hot hot sauce. Speaking of which, their hot sauce was done the way hot sauce should be done: flavor and a building enjoyable heat, instead of "burn your face off so you don't notice the lack of flavor. And again, I loved the beans and the rice, both flavorful with just enough seasoning to make them interesting but not overpowering. My personal preference would be for a more even balance of beans to rice so that they could be mixed into a delightful bean and rice combo of happiness, but I can't complain about the portions and I was still plenty happy with the combo as it was served. Finally, as a beer girl, I'd love to see a few more options on their list, but I'm really pleased to see that local breweries are well represented and there selection, while small, is varied enough to make most people quite happy. Good job! I expect to be here quite a few more times when I am in town.

The meat was way too salty for my liking to a point I wasn't even enjoying it. But the salad (can't remember the name of it) was interesting and it was my favourite exotic food. Service was good and it has a really nice atmosphere, though I wish we didn't really have to see the parking lots. 3 stars for me.
