Met a friend from Orlando here. She drove two hours and I drove 1 hour and thirty minutes to get here from south and it was worth the drive. The food was humming to yourself kinda good. Everything was good except for the brown rice. That needs some work. Presentation was fabulous. The kids fed the fish outside the restaurant while we waited for food. It was cool because it was right on the water. It is also double stroller mom 4 kids, mom 3 kids. Picky husband, picky son friendly. My kids ate it all up. We plan to have another meet up with the kids girls day out. There was live music on the other side of the restaurant before you get to it and a small market place the day we went. The food is kinda priced on the higher side but I am biased too because my husband is a fisher man and the fish that they sell for market price my husband brings home for free. There are ways to work the menu and still have a great meal. We had lots of fun!

Outstanding! This is my new favorite place in the Fort Pierce area. I went in expecting a fun atmosphere, with a nice view of the marina and average food, but the food was fantastic too! I had the best clam chowder I've ever had and some amazing sword fish tacos. They have a great menu, fresh catches, oysters, clams and drink specials. Save room for their homemade key lime pie, it was great too. On top of everything else our waiter, Shane, is as good as it gets. You've got to try it!

May 28, 2018 Memorial Day. On May 24, The Original Tiki Bar was notified they will be forced to close their doors. As of August 31, 2018, The Tiki Bar will be closing for good. As a full time resident of Fort Pierce I am sadden by this news as many of us are. Another restaurant will be opening in its place that The residents are not happy about. Petitions are on Facebook that can be signed, but this new restaurant has made a 2.5 million dollar donation to the city of Fort Pierce. It is coming in regardless. The city has voted in The new restaurant. We as residents are disappointed in this decision.

Meals were overpriced and improperly cooked. When I mentioned that my crab cake looked lovely but it was very under cooked to our waitress she actually argued with me. We were shocked and we were hesitant to even tip now I wish we hadn't.

Seeing that we are leaving Ft Pierce for the summer, we stopped by The Original Tiki Bar for a goodbye beer. It is scheduled to close soon and we will miss it when we come back. It’s sad that the Town played games with the owners that had been there so long. Sometimes newer is not better, but time will tell. I do know that 6 months of noisy & messy construction will have a big negative impact on nearby boats in the marina. Glad we’ll be gone for most of it. Just saying......
