Stopped here during a family visit. We are from Wisconsin, where we have our share of fresh fish, though not the saltwater varieties. Our lunches included grouper (grilled and blackened), shrimp, and scallops, which were all EXCELLENT. Outdoor seating was a 30-minute wait; we opted for immediate seating inside - but on a beautiful day with the doors and windows open, it was like sitting outside anyway. We were seated right next to the open kitchen which smelled heavenly. The carrot salad was a tasty alternative to French fries. Coleslaw had a nice mellow taste. The key lime pie was outstanding. Service was friendly, helpful and considerate.

Wow! This place has great food! The fish tacos are some of the best I've ever had. Our waitress Virginia was so sweet and attentive. The conch fritters were not sweet like I was expecting. They are savory with onions and seasoning and a bit of a kick. The grouper bites appetizer is enough for a meal and probably some of the best grouper in the area. Overall, great food and worth the wait!

one of the best causal seafood spots in the area. I have had everything from shrimp, oysters and fish. The food is outstanding and better than most of the more upscale restaurants. Great atmosphere, sitting outside overlooking Anna Maria Sound. Also the baked beans and key lime pie are fantastic. This is my go to place for fresh seafood!

Great food, great people. Don't be fooled by the rough exterior, this place serves some of the best seafood we've had in the Anna Maria area. Definitely worth the wait if there is a line. Be sure to try the homemade key lime pie.

Overall, the food is pretty good with the fish tacos being particularly tasty. Beer is served in very small plastic cups at mostly prices charged for proper pints in other establishments. You can easily rack up a hefty bar tab if you're not paying attention. The views of the water are nice, but it is picnic table dining (inside and out) and that seems odd to me for what can very easily be a $60-$70 meal (per couple) with a few drinks and tip. With that said, the place stays busy and is popular with locals and tourists alike.
