We got there pretty much as soon as they opened so kind of had the whole dinning room to ourselves. It looked like a hole-in-the-wall joint from the outside, but inside it was cute, cozy and clean. Our waitress wasn't super attentive, but this worked out in our favor as we were meeting up with a friend we hadn't seen in a while. She was nice and I appreciated the fact that she didn't linger. The food was pretty good and it didn't take too long to get to us either. The sushi rolls looked really nice and everything was plated nicely with a carrot flower garnish. Although the food was good, it was a little oily and my husbands salmon was swimming in the sauce, could have used a little less sauce on that, to be honest. Overall, I'm happy with the place and I'll be sure to come back.

Authentic Japanese food, for reasonable price, and with very large portions. Our server was Japanese American and was very happy to speak Japanese with us. We had a very good time. Definitely will come back next time we are in the area.

Food is excellent and the employees are awesome. Fresh sushi, great edamame, great people. (^^This review if from 4 years ago) Just moved back in town. Still the best sushi place. Fresh sushi, awesome noodles, great service, great prices and large portions. Usually you are in and out pretty quick.

When I first walked in my impression was looked like a nice small quiet restaurant to enjoy a good meal. My impression was quickly changed when the waitress took 15 mins just to come get our drink orders. She waited to bring our drinks with the food after spilling half the drink on the floor as she walked 5 feet to the table. After getting the food after a fair wait, the first roll was a volcano which is not a usually volcano and wasn't fried and it was just sushi with a thick sauce thrown on the top. My second roll was the Nikkos thinking it's named after the restaurant it must be good, wrong probably the worst roll I've ever had and was cold like it was fresh... Out of the fridge. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
