A great piece of Jacksonville history conveniently located next to the Florida Theater. A flash back Broadway theater eating experience in Jacksonville. The perfect place to get a quick bite of “real” Italian food before a concert. The walls are decorated with signed photographs from great performers. Each with a story. Freddy and his staff are the best! Everything is fantastic!!!!!

Coming from an Italian family I can tell you this is the most authentic Italian food in Jacksonville. The restaurant is Italian family owned and operated. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Our go-to joint whenever we're on that side of town. Can't recommend it enough.

I’m Italian, the food was neither good nor ‘authentic’, (didn’t try pizza) the price was really high, the dessert was in packaging from the grocery store, and I have never had a more disgusting meatball or worse lasagna. I felt sick honestly. And for an Italian place—No cannoli?!?! The place is lined with cheap screw top wines. I can’t recommend it. I only review really really bad stuff or exceptional stuff. This was really really bad.

They proclaim in the window that they are "The Best food in downtown Jacksonville." That may have been the case years ago; however, I have had fresher food at a fazoli's. All of the food is reheated in microwaves rendering any flavor moot. I had lasagna, and it was a rubber mess.

The best people, family owned, and genuine Italian food! Very nice and friendly service, they really care about their food and good hospitality. If you want to support local restaurants, this is definitely the place to go!
