Salad dressing tasted frozen with a texture of tapioca. Miso soup tasted like someone urinated in it. We did not receive our appetizer. Sushi was fresh but plate was boring. Grilled salmon was very good. Fried rice with shrimp was very good. Our 1st server never made eye contact with us. Apparently she didn't like her job and could wait to get out of there. 2nd server apologized for our lack of appetizer. We were in and out of the restaurant in 30 minutes. Do not recommend and will NEVER return.

Typically a tasty fun experience. Except if you get Ling. Third time having him and literally have got BURNED by his sloppy and unprofessionalism in this industry. Going to a Japanese steak house you expect a certain caliber and experience. NOT to have food dumped on your plate so rice and sauce gets all over the table AND your pants and unfortunate cell phone that you left on the table. No fun tricks or laughter either. And then during the clean up. Watch out for flying oil and hot water because that too will go right in your face. Literally. For 3 out of 4 people in our group. I spoke with the owner who apologized and offered to buy us a round of drinks. Nice, but we had just gotten our last round. I declined but he sent them any way which we turned back. As it’s Veterans Day, we expected a nice discount of at least 20% like EVERY other restaurant in the Villages is giving and especially since the Vet in our party was the one who got the hot water in his face TWICE. But no. Just 5%. And then 10% for this miserable experience. They can’t really guarantee we won’t get Ling again so probably won’t be back. Watch out and be careful if you go!

I give this place two stars because our reservation was for 5:30 pm and we had to wait while they sat other larger parties who came in after us. They finally sat us after waiting 15-20 minutes, and a Japanese woman came up to me and said that we had to go back to the waiting area because she wanted to seat another couple (who came in after us) first. I said “no, we had reservations for five-thirty and I am not getting up as I already waited.” Well, then all the larger parties that had gone ahead of us went first at the hibachi tables, and we had to just sit and wait. The cook finally got to out table to start cooking at 6:30 pm!!! And then they hurried our meals along and pushed us to get out because they had other people waiting. I never ever had this poor seating and service at any other Japanese Steakhouse and we have been at many because it’s one of my top favorites. Oh, and if you want noodles with your dinner, they are $5 extra per person! How ridiculous is that?

Great food, includes the authentic Japanese grills where they cook the food right in front of you or just a sit-down section where you can order. Food is always great and tasty.

Attentive service and sushi was delicious! Can’t wait to come back!
