Definitely a five star experience. Service was great. Food came out quickly and tasted great. Staff kept drinks refilled and checked to see if we needed anything. If you like authentic Thai food served beautifully in a nice atmosphere you’ll love Thaicoon Restaurant.

Good little Thai Restaurant, off Northlake. The food was great, but the service wasn't fantastic. Absolutely still worth going, just plan to stay a little longer than the norm. My only complaint was the server didn't know anything about the 3 types of beer they carry. He was very sweet but pretty clueless about the menu in general... he could have been new, so I won't hold it against him ;) 1-Star Spicy was quite delicious for me. My friend ordered 4-Stars Spicy and said it was, "just a little hot." I think it depends on what your idea of "Spicy" really is because it killed my mouth and made me tear up!

Wow, what a great lunch menu for price! Lunch gives you the same size portions as dinner for half the price. Red curry chicken and chicken pad Thai are my fav. You won't be disappointed! Friendly staff too! First Mate - Ashley My Islands Adventure charter with Captain Tim Hoban

My sister and whole family used to LOVE coming to Thaicoon, ordering take out and suggesting the place to friends who enjoyed real, authentic Thai Food and atmosphere. Lately, they have been taking longer and longer to prepare and serve the food whether you are eating there or not. Tonight, it took an hour to prepare 4 dinners (2 were fried rice) for a to go order for my family. When I finally got home with the food, they had not made 3 of the 4 dishes properly and instead of spring rolls - they sent me home with veggie summer rolls and no sauce to top it all off. We called asking for some support from management and waited on hold twice for about 10 minutes each time before we were hung up on (both times) receiving no support from their staff. I hate to say it, but this will be the last time my family and I eat here. We drove further to pickup our orders - we will just go to the restaurant 5 minutes away now instead of wasting our time on Thaicoon. Advice for Thaicoon? Yes!! Shape up or business is going to get slower and slower....

The food is amazing, best fried rice of any Asian cousine hands down. However they are very slow, especially at night time. People will often wait around quite a bit not only for their food but to get the check. If you're not in a rush - this place is for you.
