Our meal this evening was top shelf! Service was with a smile, timely, and she went the extra mile keeping us well hydrated! It was a perfect Friday night dinner date with my husband!

Great place to eat. Good atmosphere. Wait staff want to please. No long waits for service. Always pleased with our visits there.

After hearing Norby's was great for steaks, couldn't have been more dissatisfied. Service was OUTSTANDING, everyone very nice and attentive. However, my medium fillet arrived bloody rare. Baked potato was a "re-heat" loaded with a "butter substitute". Our server very sweet and manager removed my meal from bill. Won't be back.

Have had many a fine meal here. Definitely not the norm! Eclectic but serving some of the best steaks you can find anywhere. Love the garlic bites and escargot bites!!

Service - Never observed any employee smile the entire time we were there. Overall they came across like they were all stressed out and being happy was not in the works. Prices - Very expensive. Most steaks were in the $20-$25 range. Atmosphere - Some of the worst I have seen. It was more like eating in a shed than in a restaurant. Seriously, you would have to see it to "appreciate" how rough the building, if that's what you want to call it, is. I would expect a lot more for the prices they charge. The restrooms were very nasty. I wonder if they do such a poor job cleaning and sanitizing the restroom, what does the kitchen look like? Food - I had a 9 oz sirloin steak. I ordered it medium (expecting a warm pink middle), but it was well done. It had a grainy texture to it and it did not have the flavor of a steak. It was very sweet. I asked the server how it was prepared. She said it was marinated in a combination of ingredients that included pineapple. It was one of the worst steaks I have ever had. Instead of a white baked potato, I ordered a baked sweet potato ($2.00 upcharge - rip off too). When it was served it had a big chunk of what appeared to be butter on it. But, it was margarine instead. Again, for the prices, they could at least use real butter. Based the fact that this place would be classified as "a hole" in the restaurant industry alone is a reason that it is not a place I will return to. I will certainly drive East on 60 and go to Jay Bees any day instead of Norby's.
