When I moved to Lake Worth from Miami 10 years ago I missed the great Cuban Restaurants that were on almost every corner. And then I found El Bohio!! The menu includes all the traditional Cuban dishes and appetizers you would expect, offering sit in dining and the walk up take out window for a Cuban coffee when you are in the mood. The staff is friendly and give us the opportunity to practice our Spanish. Don't pass up this hole in the wall gem.

Usually me and my friend go for just the coffee. Tried the Cuban sandwich first and was an empty sandwich. Had the bacon burger next. Was good but bacon was ultra rare. Not cooked. Other than that good coffee good staff. But need to step up the good game.

El Bohio was delicious and authentic! I loved the decor, and the staff was very friendly. We had Cuban sandwiches and a tamale. The sandwiches were great but would suggest asking for extra sauce as it was a bit dry. On my quest for the perfect Cuban I would rate this sandwich a 3.5. Their homemade hot sauce however, was amazing! It wasn't too spicy but had great flavor. The tamale was good as well, I personally like them with a little more meat but for the price you can't beat it. I would definitely return here when I'm back in the area!

Family owned authentic Cuban cuisine. Best Cuban coffee in town!!! Great place to order lunch and also for a Friday or Saturday night dinner after a day at the beach. Reasonable prices and friendly people.
