Would Give 5 Stars for the Quality of the Food Alone!! However Service is not good at all. Regulars must be used to the service because they continue to return. Owner is very nice and chefs are as well, wish they could get more friendlier help in the front!!

Their free breakfast with a purchase of a drink is an absolute steal....if it wasn't for the rude customer service. My friend and I came to enjoy breakfast but left feeling frustrated. The wait for our food was exceptionally long considering there was only two of us eating, and during this, our waitress kept complaining about other customers; very loudly I must add. She was frustrated that they wanted their check split 7 ways. This might not sound like an easy thing to do, but the entire table got the exact same meal: a drink and the free breakfast. Now, I won't say other people's experiences should directly influence mine, but after that table left, our waitress cleared our table but never asked if we wanted checks. We sat there for 20 minutes and she never even came back around. Frustrated, my friend and I had to go to the bartender to even pay for our food. Here, the bartender was happy to split our check for us. Again, it seemed like a great deal at first, but it was definitely not worth it went the customer service was so rude. Our servers name was Lexi.

Always a great meal at the village grill. I've been coming here for over ten years and still the best eggs Benedict and breakfast in Lauderdale by the sea. Unpretentious, great food&drinks and a perfect location to watch all the beach traffic.

Food decent. Service perfect. Lively. No stress. Had street festival occurring just outside on El Mar.
