Promptly seated in a typical small town local diner. Pricing is decent for a tourist area. Food was served within 10 minutes of ordering with a full restaurant and drinks were delivered quickly. Omelettes, pancakes, eggs, all typical stuff and well prepared let's say several levels above a typical chain breakfast joint. Minus a star for not accepting American Express. No excuse for this today let alone in a tourist centric area.

Ordered steak and eggs, medium rare and sunny side up, neither were cooked to safe consumption levels. They took the eggs off the bill, but waited very long to get back a very very well-done steak (aka rubber). Waitress was nice and accommodating, but some halfway edible food would be a better start.

Very disappointing! Looks like the waitress had a bad start to her day. She didn’t even greet us. Just put the menus on the table and barely talked to us. Food was tasteless. Big chunks of potatoes. Big chucks of tomatoes in my omelette. Definitely not a place we’ll be back at all!!

Food was good but service lacks a lot. Waitress was too busy to really give good service. Loved the nostalgia of an older dinner.

Great diner food at actual diner prices; probably the only restaurant in the Keys that doesn't noticeably upcharge for the location. They take cards, have a variety of juices, and a wide selection of breakfast & lunch items. My favorite is the conch chowder with grilled cheese on wheat. There are more exciting breakfast locations in Marathon, but this is the cheapest/best for your buck. Excellent service as well, this place is sort of a throwback in all the best ways.
