If you have not stopped in and met the NEW owners, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Kern at Nichols Seafood in Milton, you have NO idea of what your missing out on! WOW! What a change. Fantastic food and great service! We are blessed to have such an amazing restaurant in Milton and Pace area! NO, I am not paid by the restaurant, owners, or any party to make this review. I highly recommend this business for a wonderful dining experience! My husband (is also an amazing chef) enjoys dining out once in a while to take a break from the kitchen. We have been several times this past month after years of not walking through the doors and ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING has been deliciously prepared. See you again soon.

The service was very good and the waitress very attentive and friendly... I travel a lot and go to different places all over the country. Their selection was good and the variety fairly wide. As some of the others have said the owner came to check on my service and food. They have recently taken over the business and in my opinion are doing a great job. The food is excellent. I had the baked stuffed oysters as an appetizer. They have it as a half dozen or a full dozen. I chose the full dozen and it was so much that I could not eat my meal. They packed my meal to go for me without hesitation since I am staying in a hotel nearby, I will be eating it later it looked and smells wonderful. Very nice out-of-the-way spot. I highly recommend.

Was a bit hesitant to go here given the negative reviews, but there were signs posted "now open" and I read new owners, so we went. Inside was clean, employees were friendly, but with the small amount of people there, it took rather long to get our food. Our waitress Amy, was great- friendly and attentive. Hubby had grilled shrimp- shrimp was good but the coating was too salty. I had chicken tender salad - large portion, but they put the dressing on for me and it was too much. And the chicken tenders were salty. We told Amy and she said she'd let the kitchen know. If we were in the area again, I'd try again, could've just been an off night. But allow time, just in case.

Had a wonderful lunch there today. I had fried oysters and they were just right. They were golden brown - not burned like you get at some places. The slaw, fries, and hush puppies made a perfect compliment to a very nice lunch. I highly recommend this restaurant.

It was expensive and the food was bad. I'd compare it to community hall dining. Scallops were boiled and had no flavor. That's not how you cook scallops. The amber fish was overcooked, no flavor and dry. The snow crab was not even measurable as far as any meat that I got. The gumbo had the consistency of snot. Hostess was unfriendly. It was a horrible experience. All this for $71!
