Mediocre food and the owner of this establishment is beyond rude. I am from the islands and I don't think I've encountered someone this rude from my land. Definitely won't be back to this dirty gross establishment.

This is the most authentic food, I have ever had outside of Trinidad. Clean, tasty and a lot of food for the money. The most friendly and honest people I know. Love it.

I'm so mad at myself for not coming here sooner when I lived in the area! My boyfriend and I decided to try after hearing from a Trinidadian friend how delicious the food was and she was not wrong! Located in a small shopping strip off of US1 and 160th, this place is a must try solely for all the new and wonderful flavors I had never tasted before going. My boyfriend and I were starving when we arrived so we ordered many items to share with each other that came out as they were freshly made. The first thing we tried was the side Doubles $1.75 which were absolutely delicious and I recommend it to those that are vegetarian. Next was the Allo Pie $1.75 which was really interesting and hard to compare to anything else I've tasted-------sweet but extremely savory. The last side we ordered was the Saheena $2.00 (which was my favorite) a crispy spiced fritter with herbs throughout and a sweet almost molasses sauce on it. So yummy! Finally, we moved on to our entrees which were the Goat Roti $10.00 and the Shark & Bake $8. I absolutely loved the goat roti---the meat was cooked and flavored very well in a curry. A little bit messy to share as it is like a big wrap; next time I will order their curried goat as a platter because of personal preference. My boyfriend loves shark and he devoured the large sandwich that was a little too fishy for me but thats usually how shark tastes. This is definitely a hole in the wall gem that is well worth adventuring to taste something new but delicious! IG: @KFitzEats
