Always a pleasure dining here, has become one of my favorites. The food is wonderful. Quality prepared sushi and sashimi. The atmosphere is so calm but inviting. They offer a dining experience that will keep you coming back. Customer service is always exceptional. Even if you want to stop by and get a drink, they have a separate bar from the sushi bar. Top notch dining experience. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to try fresh sushi, well prepared food, good drinks and a nice dining experience overall.

We frequent KIKO on and off for lunch and dinner. Frankly, we come here primarily for the sushi and lunch menu. Service is very hit and miss. The staff all wear Janet Jackson radio microphones and project an air of franticness. It makes dining seem like a marathon rather than a calm enjoyable time being out. We're never quite sure who our server is because so many people stop by. If you can get past the service aspect, the food is usually pretty good. We enjoy the vast menu selection of sushi, Thai and other Asian choices. The coconut red curry is another favorite worth trying. The other night we decided to order cocktails as it was a special occasion. We ordered a round of straight up vodka martinis and received club soda with olives. We all are avid martini drinkers. When we asked what this was the server(s) tried explaining they use club soda to chill the glass...okay...there's no club soda in a straight up vodka martini, even so..where's the vodka?? No joke, IT WAS ALL WATER!! The five of us know liquor and there was NO vodka to be found. Bottom line: order the drink specials on the menu and not any traditional bar drinks. Aside from these little quirks KIKO overall is nicely decorated with cozy booths and the food is surely worth sampling. I just wish they had some experienced servers that command a better customer experience ...without the headphones.

We really enjoyed this place! We normally go to another sushi place but they were closed due to the hurricane so we tried this as a new spot. It was wonderful, clean, and great ambiance. The service was very fast and the food was good. We really liked the Kiko fish tacos...so yummy! They have food runners and people always filling your drinks and keeping things moving quickly. The are historically one of the more pricey sushi places in or around Plantation/Davie but it's worth it for the ambiance.

Great sushi. OK service. Terrible cocktails. Warning: Do not order cocktails not listed on their limited drink menu. Although they have a full bar, their knowledge of mixology is non-existent. 3 of our guests ordered simple Grey Goose martinis and got a weird concoction of club soda and olive juice. Addressed with server and she argued their glasses were coated and chilled with club soda, hence the taste. All guests agreed we didn't taste ANY vodka and asked for new ones. Server came back twice asking how to make those. We then watched server and 2 others behind the bar at a high level of stress trying to figure out the martini dilemma for close to 20 minutes. The interchange went like this: SERVER "Do you want just olive juice and no club soda?" US "No, no club soda at all, no olive juice. Olive juice is for a dirty martini, but still WITH vodka" SERVER "So, just vodka on the rocks?" US "No, Grey Goose vodka in a shaker with ice, with olives, served in a martini glass" It was almost comical. Are we on candid camera? Is it just me, or isn't a straight up martini = bartending 101. Finally a while later, (assuming they we're Googling a YouTube video of how to make a martini), the bartender showed up with actual vodka martinis, olives in separate cup, glasses only about half full, at $12 each. So, either they're really trying to economize on their booze inventory and hoped we wouldn't notice we were paying for club soda passed as premium vodka, or they weren't honestly trying to pull a fast one and it was the bartender's 1st day ever mixing drinks? LESSON LEARNED: go for the food and stick with soft drinks next time. Otherwise, our sushi boat was fantastic!
