Very good food. Definitely worth going for the buy one get one free deal. Not a bad date night. I'd recommend going at least when they have the deal although the food is good enough to pay full price.

Well, I used to go to Sage with much more regularity. They have been doing a 2 for 1 special on Monday and Tuesday nights for a very long time. This is the first time I have come back for a while. Also, I wanted my boyfriend to try it because he mentioned that he disliked French cuisine, and he's been to France. So, I hyped this place up and decide to go on a Tuesday for their 2 for 1. Our server's name was Jelena C. When we ordered drinks, the appetizers came before the drinks did. It took 25 minutes for the appetizers to come to the table. Normally, bread with an olive spread is brought to the table. That also never came, even though I made mention of it. My boyfriend ordered a French onion soup. It was what you'd expect out of a French onion soup at an American restaurant. We thought it would be better because it was in a French café. I ordered the Brie in puff pastry. The puff pastry had a very bland sauce underneath and a hair was found underneath the fruit that accompanied the pastry. There was also a strand of fiber or material that I could not easily recognize. I just decided to eat it anyway because I was starving. I know that these things can happen from time to time because my family owned restaurants throughout my childhood and I did not want to give the server a hard time about it. She was absent throughout most of our meal. There were other servers around that assisted us and brought her to us so that we can request for our drinks in the middle of our appetizers. I'm not sure why the servers couldn't just grab a Diet Coke and lemonade for us. There doesn't seem to be hia strong teamwork ethic at this restaurant. We noticed that other guests received their main courses before we did, even though we arrived before they did. When we finally got our food, my beef stew was super salty. I can't attest to the quality of the food that my boyfriend ate because I never tried it. The server never came back to check on us ever again. She simple served out main dishes and never came back to check on our drinks or satisfaction with our meal. We spent about 1.5 hrs here, and we barely spoke because we were so unhappy with the service, except for me apologizing profusely about how horrible everything was, and I swore that this was not how it was. I was embarrassed for hyping up this restaurant so much. I guess I am never going to have French food with my boyfriend ever again. We never spoke to the manager about any of this because we didn't have additional time to devote to this, even though an 18% gratuity was automatically charged without any mention of this before the meal (not even on the menu).

Locals love this place. Great French food, good service and very reasonable prices.
