The price was quite a shock at $17. The side portions were normal sized to me, the meat was enough for 2 people, but nothing I had was worth paying $17 again. The mac&cheese was kinda sour. It must have a little too much sour cream in it for my liking. Ribs were pretty good, baked beans were good. Cornbread was ok. I tried the peanut butter fingers for dessert, but they have some coconut in there and I didn't care for that. Drink choices were Chek brand cans and bottle water.

If you love soul food, this is definitely the place for you. They give you enough for two people unless you're just a big eater. The staff is very nice and welcoming. You get an entree, 2 sides, bread and a drink. Dessert is separate I think. I didn't get any on this trip. It's a small place what I call a hole in the wall but that's when the food is as us southerners say, "show nuff good". Stop by and tell them Miss Mattie sent you.

I wanted southern soul food. I was heading to Ft. Benning from Clearwater, FL. I saw the rating.. when I pulled up I wasn’t certain about the parking. Inside... my God. Pure goodness. The gentleman that worked there and the food. The whole package in a dive. 😘😘

The best soul food I have ever had. Y'all really are good. I came all the way form Valdosta just to try Dunbars and it was worth the trip. I came back the next day and bought my family to eat and they loved it. Today I'm visiting my mom and I know she want to go back. I will be accompanying her. I won't miss out on that good food....
