We had a party of 4 to celebrate Mother's day last evening. The food was absolutely delicious! We had 2 appetizers; fried oysters and grouper fingers which are not usually offered on the menu. They were light and fried to perfection. We all had wine and entrees to follow. Two had the ribeyes, one had salmon and the other one had ribs. We would have had more wine but we were never asked if we would like more until the bill came at the end of our meal. Refills on water would have been appreciated as well. Josh also seemed distracted when we were ordering. He would be speaking with us but looking off into other areas of the restaurant while we were asking about the menu. One of the concerns we have is the cleanliness of the restaurant. It needs a good pressure washing on the steps leading into the main dining hall from the train track side. Also, the menus are tattered and stained which can be considered a health concern. A little attention to these details will go along way! We hope to visit again however, if we walk up to the door and notice the steps are still black from filth, we will be dining elsewhere. Thank you and best of Luck to you!

Not only was the food to die for so was the service. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked as requested, rare. The gumbo and cheese grits are from an old family recipe and it should never be changed! I really enjoyed the down home atmosphere and being treated like family.

This place blew my mind. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and the main course (surf and turf) was savory and full of taste while ring tender. The atmosphere was cozy and even romantic. A little spends but it was well worth it. I look forward to coming back and trying other options.

The best fried green tomatoes I've had in a long, long time! Pimento cheese sandwich was yummy too. We were too full for dessert...next time!

We just had a celebratory family dinner at SASS tonight and the food and service was excellent! Our waitperson was very helpful and pleasant. Four out of five of us Loved our food. The shrimp and grits was over the top delicious and the gumbo and jambalaya were also excellent. The servings are very generous and we were all too satisfyingly full to try any dessert. We will have to come again. Because it is an old train station, it is a little noisy but the food and service make up for that. Thank you SASS .
