Worst service I have ever received. We had reservations for 7 pm and was seated promptly but an hour and a half later still no food. The waiters were tending to the larger parties so our little party of 2 was ignored. I guess you go where the money is. We walked out at 8:30 pm without eating. Service has been on a steady decline for the past several months. My wife and I are usually in there once every month or so but not anymore.

Generally nice. People tend to hype this place up like it's the greatest place ever. Personally I don't really think so. I think people think because their prices are crazy high that it means it's got to be great. In my opinion, most of their dishes, especially their pastas are weird and gross me out with the ingredients. Their Saturday night Prime Rib Special is good, but again, pricy! And their dinner rolls are the same ones you can buy frozen at Costco and throw in the oven for about 13 minutes! While I do believe it's likely the nicest place in Hartwell, GA, I prefer to go Anderson, SC.

We are regulars here and love the atmosphere and service. There is a full bar with a unique horseshoe shaped bar. They have a menu that is certain to have something your want. Also, they have dinner and lunch specials!!

Waitress spilled water , just left and didn't even offer to clean it up. Service was slow . Rolls were brought out just before the meal instead of with appetizers. Fish and chips was more like batter and waffle fries.... they're lucky to get a 2

I have been eating at Cateechee for over 10 years. I have seen the quality slip over the years. Since the new owners took over in March 2017, the place has transformed. The new chef is amazing. The staff is better trained and very attentive. The food is spectacular. It's the best restaurant within 60 miles. Worth trying for sure. Give it another chance if you have had a bad experience before.
