Dinner was $68 and I left hungry. Flavors we're good, food well prepared but entries were expensive and portions small. We're got an appetizer which didn't come with enough bread to go with it and server could not bring more bread that came with it. We drank water and no desert, meal was $68 for 2 people, $80 with the tip. I would place this as a $48 meal by comparison with like restaurants. Overall dissapointeed in the butcher and the baker. Would not go back.

We went on a Wednesday which is "chefs day" where they experiment with food for the week. The menu was family style, $25/person including sharable appetizers, 3 sharable sides of our choice, and each of us got to choose one of 4 mains (all meats), as well as a dessert for each of us (one option). My husband got a cocktail that was very nice, despite it having many ingredients. Their bar is neat looking. It did look like they were going under some renovations due to open ceiling tiles and walls, but it didn't ruin the experience.

Food and service were good. Attended a private event in the upstairs room. Was VERY disappointed to see a tip jar at the bar when I know the host and hostess were paying a mandatory 25% gratuity. The tip jar seemed excessively greedy . 5/28/18 *Update* The owner called the hostess and I believe the situation has been remedied to the hostess' satisfaction.

This is a tough review to write - this restaurant has been my favorite for 2.5 years. I have eaten there once or twice a month since I found it. I always bring a number of people. We always eat appetizers, main courses, and deserts and have multiple drinks. I tip generously. I make reservations so it's easy to verify. The food and drinks are usually very good, so if you are not looking for hospitality, you will be fine. I am not expecting much in terms of being acknowledged, but you will be treated as a stranger no matter how often you go there. Every single time I go there the waiter asks if it's my first time. I know every one of their wait staff but they can't be bothered acknowledging you. The bar drinks are excellent. However, since the summer, we have waited 20-30 minutes for mixed drinks every time. It's hit or miss if they will bring you bread. Forget water refills without having to ask for it. I cannot continue supporting them because every visit leaves a bad taste despite the good food.

This place is amazing! Awesome cuisine! Great service, great environment, and (though not cheap) actually a good value considering the excellent quality. Very impressed, again.
