Casual place i can say it has a bit of ambiance. The building is furnished with the original fixtures seem to be around 100 years old very nice looking place. Food is good and mostly on point. Is this a gourmet resturant? Well....no but it is a nice place with good food and atmosphere. Try it out I'll bet you won't be disappointed. Nice job crew. Clean nice and fast.

What I loved about my visit was and still is, the fact that the owners/managers come and speak with the customers to insure their visit. The food in my perspective is immaculate. Servers are wonderfully pleasant, it is very clean, warm feeling, and although in awkward placing, it is in fact in the right place. The food makes it worth all the while to come in and spend some time to eat. I enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere with everything that comes with it. The door upstairs is a little confusing but as you continue to walk down, you will find the astonishment of luxury, friendliness and wholesome people that show the love and support of not only their job, but as well as the customers that walk in. I highly recommend this place for not just workers, but as well as the food too. I will definitely be going back and bring more people with me.

We came for lunch. We were the only table seated during our stay (noon to 1:30pm). The waitress was very pleasant and tried her best but seemed inadequately trained. The restaurant was clean and well appointed. The owners clearly spent alot to open the doors. The food (at lunch) was very poor. Dinner may be prepared by a cook with experience and training. The lunch items were possibly prepared by one of the other waitresses. The salmon (photo included) was baked and then covered in honey. No other seasonings ($15.99 and quite small with two sides). The chicken tenders were over cooked and a grilled chicken breast appeared to have been cut into 6 or 7 times to ensure it was cooked all the way through and served with minute rice. I would recommend the owners not open their doors if their aren't sufficient customers to have a trained cook on duty. Again, the dinner here may be excellent but this restaurant should not be open for lunch.

Kaity's Downtown was an interesting experience today. We were there around 1:30 in the afternoon on a Friday, and we were the only people in the whole restaurant. The wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food was not that great though. Not to mention two out four orders were not correct. I had the shrimp and grits and it was hands down the worst shrimp and grits I have ever ordered! The grits were not creamy and the shrimp were just those extremely cheap shrimp that you can get from the grocery store, not the large juicy kind that usually accompany this dish. The only reason that I gave them 3 stars and not any less was because of how much I could tell the wait staff was trying to make it a great experience.

We opted for home style. Food was good and all we could eat. No desert, even though it was normally included, something to do with the cook. Good for a change of pace but not up to a regular place for us.
