I feel the need to both express the wonderful nature of the Pie Hole, thank them, and apologize in this post. For reference, I fully intend to return in the future and tip the staff significantly as a means of appreciating their kindness. On my 21st Birthday my friends made the unfortunate mistake of taking me from the Balcony to here in an attempt to recover from an unwise amount of jello shots. The pizza I initially consumed was divine (As it actually is while not intoxicated, I should mention) When my sister attempted to guide me to the restroom after a loudly exclaimed “I need to pee” - I then made a utter and complete fool of myself. Some other lucky soul was in the single stall when we tried to turn around and retreat outside. This was the precise moment when my legs gave out, and I vomited both on my sis’ AND the establishments floor to the amusement of everyone including myself. I was brought more pizza, water, and a trash can once outdoors safely. The staff joked & embraced the stupidity of the situation at whatever deity-forsaken hour it was. Props to whomever was working on March 31st. You deserve nothing but good things. I like the Pie Hole. 5/5

Drove to Boise just to try it. I have heard nothing but positive things about it. Went there late on Sunday night. My impression, based on what others have said, was good sized slices for a good price. The price was good but the pizza was just okay at best. Super greasy. Not very fresh as it was sitting in a giant pile on the counter. Once ordered it would be removed from the counter and thrown in an oven and heated for a moment. Very dissatisfied with the customer service which was them yelling over noise the whole time. Strictly transactional not geared for customer satisfaction. If you are looking for okay (not amazing) pizza, go ahead and give it a try.

Very good pizza. Good pay-by-the-slice and specials are well-priced. If you’re not into loud music and teenagers, avoid the one on Broadway (by BSU) and get it from downtown! Based on the profane language heard in the music and by employees, I don’t recommend it as a family visit.

Love this place. Its classic Boise. Great Pizza, cool atmosphere. I cant tell you how many times Pie Hole had my back when I stumbled over from Suds. If you live or work on this side of town, why go anywhere else?

I've given pie hole a solid try. I've gone three times, and every time it's been the same - mediocre at best. Three different pizzas, three different days...same result. Dry, bland pizza that's overhyped. That being said, this pizza joint does offer something that other places do not. They're open late night, every night, which is pretty cool. But that's it. The restaurant feels like a dungeon, it's cramped, has very little seating, and always has a long line of drunk people out the door. I haven't had a great experience with the employees, either. Both times they've been quite rude, but I can't blame them honestly. They're dealing with pretty intoxicated people all night long so I'm sure they have to be that way. Either way, it's not a great customer experience, and the pizza is not good at all. I'd 100% rather have Domino's over pie hole, every time. But, if you're a fan of mediocre pizza, love long lines, and enjoy dozens of people being in your personal space the whole time because its so cramped, by all means, go eat here.
