By far, the ONLY PLACE I'LL EAT SUSHI in the area. Everywhere else sucks. I've been to them all and given them second chances. True, I'm used to sushi in coastal states, but Syringa is heavenly. Epic sushi, cheap libations, cool atmosphere and great service. Only problem is the place is small and quite popular making it difficult to get in at peak times. But seriously, everywhere else is borderline gross.

It was just okay! Since moving to Spokane from Los Angeles, I find it very sad that so many trendy restaurants here have high reviews when serving what would be considered mediocre dishes in Southern California. We ordered the Incredible Hulk, Wyatt Earp, and a spicy tuna roll. Fairly bland stuff. Formulaic, slathered in sauce and uninspired. The staff was really nice, the place is small, parking sucks, the wall art - kitschy, You should go right now while it is still considered cool.

Syringa was and is an amazing restaurant to eat at. First off, the food was excellent. Secondly, and the most important reason is that the customer service was exceptional. It was too late for their ramen ( which is the best), and they made an exception for us to make it. I will continue to come back every time I visit Idaho. A must add to your Google maps!

So consistently delicious, really can't go wrong here - ever. Diverse selection of mainstream and local rolls named after superheroes. Small and cozy Midtown vibe. One of our Top 3 spots in town for a date night or long overdue "sushi fix".

Cozy little joint with stellar sushi and great craft beer selection. This is a local favorite which also makes it very busy during lunch and dinner. But you can drop in during skewed hours and most likely get a seat in five minutes or less. The staff is very friendly and takes care of you promptly
