Excellent, smiling service. Great prices (especially for beer!). A variety of sauces. Really really good potato salad(creamed horseradish?!) and a dill-filled coleslaw round out a great selection of sides. The meats left a bit to be desired. Slightly dry chicken with no longer crispy skin. Slightly dry and generically flavored brisket. The sliced shoulder was a smoky treat, definitely different than the pulled standard. Overall, a good place to go. I would go back for the drinks, the sides, and those pies sound delicious. I cleaned my plate!

It's hard to find a spot that gives off the same energy they out into their food, this is definitely one of those places Famous Willie's shows a passion for what they do not only by serving delicious BBQ but by also making you feel like part of the family. An amazing BBQ joint with amazing people. If you haven't been then you are missing out 😉

We walked in and they had 2 tables left, it looks like about 7-8 tables total. It seemed like a busy little “hole in the wall” type place. This was our first time, quick trip in the area and googled nearby places to get a bite to eat. We are fans of good BBQ but not commercialized restaurants with pre-made/packaged sides. We had great service! We were greeted by the waitress (the only waitress) when we walked in and she let us know she would be right with us. She was quick and the back house was very quick. I’d say less than 10 minutes before a table of four got their food and ours right after. The food was great though the meat could use a little more smoke. It seemed to only be nice and Smokey on the crispy ends, was a bit dry but BBQ sauce fixes that 😉 We liked the variety of BBQ sauce options. The mild was pretty sweet so I mixed together the Mild and Cattleman’s. The coleslaw and potato salad were great, I liked the touch of radish in the slaw and that the potato salad was homemade and had its own unique taste. We will definitely be back if we ever are in that area again. I recommend giving them a try!

My preferred location for delicious BBQ. The service was very welcoming and observant. The place has a good feel to it.

Absolutely awesome!! I have been patronizing Famous Willies since they opened - and the consistency of excellence continues!! Just enjoyed another pound of that fabulous brisket earlier this week, and the red beans and rice with smoked sausage. I grew up in Louisiana and this is the real deal - authentic southern, Texas BBQ. Superb.
