I'm giving it 3 stars because the steak & shredded beef is awesome. Big quantity of food. You won't leave here hungry. Bad parts are no free refills. Also even if your willing to pay for another drink. Its hard to get the waitress back to your table. Especially on a Friday. Also we stood at the counter to pay for a long time.

Great food. Fast service. Fantastic prices. This restaurant is my all-time favorite. I go here often. And when I can't make it, I order out.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place. From the authentic decor that was brought back from Mexico, to the food and staff, this place did not disappoint. We sat down, were met with chips and salsa and menus relatively quickly, and had drinks out pretty quick as well. I had a burrito and my wife had the gordita lunch special and both with their horchata (which was top notch I might add). Everything took a little bit to come out, but I'll tell you it was worth it! What was most memorable was the chat my wife and I had with the server (can't remember her name for the life of me, unfortunately) who explained where the decor came from, the varying El Faro locations and which part of the family owns them (No matter which one you go to, they're all great), and she would recommend us trying on our next visit. Overall pleasant first time here and we will be back soon.

:D The fried full Sea Bass is still here, even after all these years. Phenominal dish size for the price. Great authentic food, and completely worth a try!

Got chicken, pork and steak tacos. Very good. Larger than average: I could have gotten by with two. The green sauce is spicier than usual, but not outrageously so.
