This review is not about the quality of the food or the taste. I was actually happy with how the food tasted. I’ve been to several diners and I wouldn’t say that I’m picky but I have expectations. The short stack only had 2 pancakes, which I’m used to 3 for the price. They were a decent size though. They filled out a large plate. I also ordered 2x2x2. Usually hash browns are included in any plate that you get. I do understand that not all diners are this way. However for the price I expected more. The eggs were a pitiful size. I was extremely disappointed in this. Waitress was happy and delightful. She did an awesome job. I usually eat at a diner in Park Ridge next door to my job. The portion size that they offer for the price is exceptional and beyond. I hate that my bill was $37 and change. Like I said the food was great and customer service was great. However the portion to price ratio was a huge let down. I left feeling like I was taken advantage of. (Not a great feeling) I won’t be coming back. It’s in my home town and I really wanted to love it and be a regular somewhere close to home. Save your money.

Work across the street and we go there as much as possible. Never had a meal I didn't like! Wonderful friendly people! True family restaurant.

Really great place. Fast service and the food was great and she never let my coffee get below half a cup. Had the cinnamon swirl French toast with eggs and bacon. Bacon was perfect, crispy but not burnt.
