Their burritos with everything are easily the best for 500 miles. Go hungry, and get a couple to go! I live north of Milwaukee and make the trip whenever I can. Beef or Chicken, both are phenomenal...

I have been going to El farol since I was about 18. We always used to go, tacos, and of course the carrots and peppers there are hot and delicious. The other day I had to stop by just because I was going to an appointment right now on the street. Anytime I'm in Summit or Argo I have to go to El farol. This time, things were a little different. I decided because it was before 10 a.m. I would get breakfast. Not a burrito, not a taco, not at work. But very simple eggs, steak, corn tortillas, and green chili. I did not ask for carrots or jalapenos. After all this was before 10 a.m. The food was, as always, very good. I remember going when I was young and I didn't even taste it because usually I was drunk, and under the influence of who knows what else. I recommend going to this place anytime and ordering the breakfast. After talking to the nice guys that work there they serve breakfast at any time. My recommendation get the breakfast, hang out, and if it's after 10 p.m. on a Friday or Saturday night watch the parade of suburban kids come through.

Best place on the planet. Open 24/7. Meat always cooking and ready. Fast service. Great prices. Amazing food.

Flavors are there best, jalapenos home made too as it's everything else. Salsas have no competition either. Only downside is meat quality, it is the lowest in the region, but the best flavors on the flip side. I've been coming here and in k town for over 30 years and still need that taste.

One of Chicago's gems in terms of burritos. They are super cheap, the most expensive being around 7. Their portions are enormous though, so you'll haave a hard time finishing the whole thing. The place inside is a little run down, but that's how you know the food is amazing, in my opinion.
