Today is our second time coming to village tavern. When the 5 of us walked in , there were 4 hostess talking about personal things. Standing there unfriendly. We were taken to a booth where we all stopped and looked at each other because the seats on both sides were dirty full of food. I asked for the seats to be washed off The young lady brushed the food to the floor and walked away leaving the seats wet. As another staff came over noticed we couldn't sit down. Asked what the problem was that we were not taking a seat. So she came back with a clean and dry rag and wiped the seats again. With all that being said, We will still come back and have lunch here again after church. The food is great.. Today a (3) for the unfriendly front door staff and dirty table we we're sat at, but thank you Jennifer our server was spot on, who made it all perfect.

Great food. Chicken fingers, always a great choice. Kids fish meal only offered depending on how good of a server you get. Surprising some servers refuse to make it work, and no real explanation given except that we need to order the adult portion. Other than that, love it here. It'd be better, though, if they offered more vegetarian options, but no real complaints.

Always a favorite, especially during lent! The fish fry is AMAZING, big, fat, juicy, pieces of cod fried in a delicious beer batter with a nice choice of sides. The chicken tenders are worth writing home about, have them once and you will be a raving fan! Nachos to die for piled to the sky, chili, soups, salads, sandwiches and more all fantastic! Great prices, a huge bar and great staff! Just go now!

Was so/so. People ordered the chicken fingers, those were pretty good. I ordered the prime rib, I'd say that's what got 3/5 stars.

As a Buffalo native, I'm excited when a restaurant does their own take of Buffalo Wings. Unfortunately the wings I received were more of a mild; I'd imagine the bbq wings suggested for wimps would have been spicier. Pizza joints can get hot wings better, so I'm pretty disappointed. Next time I'll have to try the chicken fingers, they sound a lot more popular. That said, great service and atmosphere, friendly staff. I'll definitely be returning.
