Hands down, best place in the suburbs for BBQ! Huge fan of smoked meats as well and Steamboat did not disappoint! As soon as you come in the smell of smoking meats fills your nostrils with a memory of a hot summer day, with ice cold drinks and old school feel-good music! The staff is pleasant and real with you. Not a huge place to eat at, but when you look around most of those customers ordered to go. Every piece of meat melts in your mouth (especially those rib tips). I recommend the 3-meat meal deal. You pick 3 and get 2 sides. Drinks are sold separate. They have their own line of sauces that you have to try so you can bring yourself to your own happy place. They've won plenty of awards and you can taste the reasons why. Definitely would consider this one a "hidden gem". Get yourself here any season because Steamboat will not let you down!

The burnt end sandwich was fantastic. The line was long when we arrived, but it moved at a reasonable pace. The staff was efficient and friendly. The food is definitely worth the trip. I would absolutely return.

Steamboat BBQ serves amazing food. Their pulled pork and brisket are exceptional, and I love their side dishes as well -- their potato salad and cornbread are my favorites. They offer a variety of sauce options, from mild to vinegary to hot. Call ahead, especially on weekend evenings -- the place is not huge, and the line can get long. Their food, however, is worth waiting for. This is definitely one of our favorite local joints!

Legit barbecue prepared by Memphis in may competition crew. Sides do not all get the same attention as the BBQ meats. Of note is the bacon-blue cheese potato salad and the baked beans, which have hunks of their brisket in it.

I went there for the first time last night to try there BBQ baby back ribs. Sauce was good but the ribs left something to be desired. Thought they would be fall off the bone. Instead, the end crumbled off,(was burnt to a crisp), and the rest was a little bit of a fight to get off. There are other places that have much better ribs in my opinion. Can't vouch for the rest because I haven't tried it.
