Great food and drinks, fantastic wine dinners and Great wine list. Staff is knowledgeable and very welcoming. The pre fix menu always features great local and seasonal ingredients. Presentation is impressive and interesting. The dishes are all very well balanced and taste great!

Super pricey, not so flavorful and really tiny portions. Not great for vegetarians

I haven't found a restaurant comparable to Bacaro south of I-80 in Illinois. The atmosphere is special, yet not pretentious. The food, the service, the wine menu and the drink service -- all stellar. It's the perfect spot for a romantic dinner, special occasions or even to host a party. You owe it to yourself to give Bacaro a try. You won't be disappointed.

Except for the self satirizing beet appetizer everything was delicious. The wine selection was perfection. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the low key yet tasteful decor.
