High-end steakhouse with a VAST wine selection (I'm not kidding. The wine list just goes on and on; probably more than 200 wine selections). My words on the menus: -The wines are superb. If you've come here, please please do have a good quality wine. The aromas converted a wine-skeptic like me to the world of wine. -If you came in a group, probably ordering a few steaks and some appetizers/sides and then sharing them would be nice (they chop up the steak for you if you want so). Any steak seems great so feel free to choose. -I don't know the name but try the tuna tartar-like menu. It's savory, comes with some nacho-like sides. -I prefer mushrooms than the cream spinach as the sides. The cream spinach is somewhat bland, but the mushrooms are rich and savory. -Caesar salad was good. It's thin slices (not strips!) of parmegiano-like cheese on ranch-like sauce-covered salad.

Best steaks ever. I try to go as often as I can. I don't care about a price. I care about quality, consistency and service. Morton's steakhouse has all of these. They exceed my expectations every time I go here.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences the wife and I have had ever. Phenomenal food, steaks were perfectly prepared. Staff went above and beyond. Winston walked us through everything and made us feel at home. Would do again anytime.

My brother and his wife were visiting from Boston and we met them for dinner here because my brother wanted to try it. The staff could not have been more welcoming and efficient. Great wine selection and service throughout the meal. Steaks were perfectly prepared and the side dishes were wonderful. Even the desserts were up to the level anticipated. Expensive? Yes, but worth every penny when all expectations were surpassed. Everyone should dine here at least once in their life.

Typical steakhouse - really unimpressive considering it is the original. Its placement in the basement of the building leads it to be dark, like all good steak houses, but it seems to lack creativity. Not a great choice of sides. The steaks were good, not great. The bar was spot-on with the drinks and the service was good. There are simply better options in Chicago.
