Pretty good food, not far from any typical bar food. Lots of deep fried items to choose from. The deep fried pickles are good, but not the best we've ever tasted. The haystack onions taste good, but there's far more batter than onion in them. They would be astounding and a real departure from typical bar food if the onion slices were thick instead of thin as a pencil lead. I had an "O" burger, which is what they are locally famous for. Ground beef, in a ball, with toppings inside it. Grilled, then battered and deep fried. Takes 30-40 minutes to prepare. Cooked with little or no seasoning. Novel idea, but executed in an average way. The deep frying does nothing for it IMHO. Maybe switch it to just grilling and add some seasoning. I should mention that they made 2 mistakes on our order...

We absolutely love the environment here. The people are great, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful. They always have a benefit honoring local people. I would definitely recommend stopping on your way through. Wings are great, maybe you will be up for the Double O Burger Challenge ♡

I've been to this place over 100 times. It has decent food, some great specials and good beer selection. As you can see in the other reviews I agree this place can be hit and miss. Yes I have had bad food here but I've had good food here. They have the potential to be a 5 star place but you have to train your people well and keep the good ones and kick the lazy worthless ones out. Running a restaurant is work and you get out of it what you put into it.

Great place for burgers and beer. I can't wait to try the "O" burger

Great place for a quiet meal. Mostly bar food, but still pretty good.
