The best Indian restaurant in Peoria. It has better ambience than other ones. It’s usually nice to try lunch buffet on the weekends as they include breakfast items in the buffet along with regular menu. Nice place to go with friends or family I visit it at least once in a week if I’m in town Would definitely recommend it for others.

This is my husband and I's favorite restaurant in the Peoria area. We are Indian food fanatics and this restaurant does not disappoint! We are from the Chicago area and have eaten at countless different Indian restaurants in the city and suburbs and Ruchi is our favorite. That says a lot! We are so thankful to have found such authentic, delicious Indian cuisine in Peoria. We also love that they offer various spice levels. We like things on the spicy side, but if we take our young son with us we can order the food with no heat for him. The restaurant itself is clean, well-kept, and has a very casual, yet nice atmosphere. We've eaten there in jeans and t-shirts as well as slacks and skirts for our anniversary, either goes. We highly recommend Ruchi!

it was a good restaurant once with good taste,. Now Indian food is not tasting as Indian anymore...tastes so bland now a days. ... Both tandoori naan & tandoori chicken are always burnt too much like coal with bad taste and they still serve those to customers. I commented a few times and no improvement at all. They should think whether they would eat those before serving to their customers. Hope they will improve soon ! Nor sure this restaurant has Indian cooks or chef.... asked for a dry pepper chicken fry today and got some chicken curry with green peppers and it tasted like a tomato curry.

Great service, great selection, delicious food. We didn't know there was a buffet on the weekends but it was perfect for those of us not knowledgeable in Indian cuisine but wanting to explore. Well be back often!

While I won't consider myself an Indian food expert I thought the food selection was limited and lacked flavor. The restaurant wasn't decorated all that great and appeared a little worn or bare. The staff were all very distant and I don't think said a word to any of us the entire time.
