We made reservations for what we knew would be a busy night - NIU graduation. Everyone in our group was pleased with the entire experience. The menu had a large variety of choices available (food, beer, and wine selection) and the prices were reasonable. Everything we ordered was tasty, and the portions were huge. Most in our group had enough leftovers for another meal. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Several reviews claim the food was overpriced. Maybe they should try Chicago area steakhouses.

Great first experience here. We were seated right away. Service was fast and friendly. Cocktails were slightly strong, just how I like them. The menu has many choices priced reasonably for the quality of what you receive. I would definitely go back for dinner, but also for some "small plates" for lunch.

Made reservations months ago for my daughters graduation. Showed up at our reserved time of 7:30. Was told there was a wait for a table. The only way way we could be seated at our reserved time was to take two booths with five people each. Very disappointed. Had family come in from out of town for her college graduation. Can never get the time back. She was very upset that her family could not sit and be together for her college graduation. Very sad!!!

Place has great food, portions are good, staff is attentive and kind... The decor is nice and classy and has a great feel to it, and even the music being played added an extra element of class.. place looks great and taste great.. very happy with my experience here

Not one star because their food is still edible, but this place is just a total disaster for the type of place it’s supposed to be. Second time I went I was part of a large party that made a reservation 3 weeks in advance. When we got there the place was completely backed up and they wouldn’t seat us all at the same table (which they apparently always do but failed to communicate to us, which is INSANE). The food is mediocre, it’s usually cooked wrong (not good for an upscale steakhouse), apple crisp is frozen and then microwaved (which they confirmed), drinks are ok (long island iced tea is particularly bad)... When their wall of awards are all from the same year, all for different sub genres of food they make, and all from the same local newspaper red flags should go off. Don’t ignore them. I suppose this is what happens when you’re the only steak house in town.
