Excellent! King Louie burger was better than I can find in this area – one of the best I've ever had. Food was blazing hot right off the grill when it was served. Yum! Fries are “natural cut”, not my favorite, won't get those again. They charge for fountain drink refills — get the large size. Menu has all kinds of great-sounding items on it – looking forward to trying more of them. Cauliflower, mushrooms, chili, coney dog, pork tenderloin, and more. I will be a regular!

Food is exceptional for a drive in, fast service, easy parking. I worked there when I was a kid, early 60s it was J.P. Root beer Steve & Ginny Palous were the owners. Steve was a sticker for quality and that tradition still holds today.

Always Love King Louie's Burgers! Delicious! Best hamburgers in Illinois!! For $3.75 you get a large hamburger, cheese, about 5 pickle slices, plenty of lettuce, 2 slices of red, not pink, tomatoes !! It is a drive up, the girls come to your car for the order, then bring it back. They have one gallon of homemade Root beer for take home. Best ever!!!
