What great idea...beer by the ounce! Try as many as you like with no fear of emptying your wallet. The food is not served like standard bar fair..it has a bit of style in presentation. I wish the "smoked right here" meats had more smoked flavor. The food is a bit more expensive than I liked but it isn't over the top...this is "downtown" so to be expected. This isn't a place to hammer down beer but rather explore a wide range of beers easily and inexpensively. I'd take anyone here who had an interest in checking out new styles of beer they might not consider otherwise.

Cool gimmick, but that's about as far as it goes. I had the cheeseburger sliders and they tasted very bland. So much that I'm pretty sure they where frozen. The only saving grace is the pour your own beer gimmick. It's nice to be able to pour yourself only a ounce or two, which allows you to try more. Over all with the lage number of beer bars now, I wouldn't suggest going here, if your looking for a good food and beer experience.

This was my 1st visit while in town. Red Arrow is such cool setup and so relaxed! The beer section is phenomenal (only IL brewery taps though but delicious!) And setup creates such an awesome experience. Had a burger that was good & best sweet potatoes fries! I'll definitely come again next time I'm in area.

The only good thing about this place was the beer selection, local and great variety. So completely disappointed with the service, waited 30min for a server, and 45 minutes for the food to come out. When the food arrived (The Rachel) it was just lousy couldn't believe I waited for basically an ounce of pastrami between 2 pieces of bread. Waste of money and a night.

Very fun for dinner and drinks with friends. Knowledgeable staff walks you through dinner choices based on BBQ and beef selections. All taps are per oz. Nice to try it first!
