I love this little place. Has a good menu and pretty much every time I go in there, the staff is super friendly. They have a variety of things. This is nice for a one stop shop. Eat, pick up some ingredients for an Italian recipe for the weekend and some dessert while you’re at it!

I'm not sure what happened here. First couple months, this was the place to eat in Homewood. Great food, friendly staff. Sadly, the Dixey Hwy location has took a serious step in the wrong direction. I was told by not one, but two servers that there were no options to ordering sandwiches. Then I looked up at the menu and plan as day " Add soup, or fries and drink for a fee". Food is starting to slip in not only taste, but appearance. Even leaving listed components to the menu off what I've ordered. Please step it up Dixey Hwy location. I truly loved going there and want to come back!!! The second star is simply for the bakery. That's still amazing!!!

The food was ok. I'll have to try other items, but fresh and fast. They also have groceries and gelato

This is one of my new favorite local places to get a quick bite. I have tried many different menu option and have yet to be disappointed. I even liked the place so much that when looking for a caterer for a work luncheon to serve 130 people I chose them. Marco, the owner was extremely friendly and easy to deal with. We served all 130 people under budget and we had plenty of food leftover. My favorite dishes there are the Eggplant Parmesan (which I order with the bread on the side since i think it is better on its own), the ravioli, the chipotle chicken wrap, and all of their desserts. Every dish I have had there is great, that is just a highlight of some of my favorites. The place itself is a very quaint little cafe that includes a small grocery store and freezers with pre-made food of theirs. The deli section has a great assortment of deli salads and sides. I have yet to get anything here that has disappointed me so I would highly suggest this place to anyone that is looking for a quick option for some good home style Italian food. Note: they also have food delivered through grubhub which can come in handy for somebody who cannot go out to pick up their food.
