Cash only, no french fries, but the service and food are amazing. Easily some of the best bar food in a town of almost 20 bars. People love the giant Nick burger, but the grilled cheese, nachos and Italian beef are also amazing! Cheap beers and good music. Some say it is a small bar, but I prefer to say cozy with charm.

Great place. I believe it was opened in 1945 . New owners now but still family friendly service. Cash only. No fry's. Known the big Nick Burger. Don't be in a hurry it's so big it can't be cooked fast, however it's worth the wait. Good beef and nachos also. A must go if you're ever in the area.

Great Italian beef and burgers. Great staff. An experience from years gone by.

All you need from this legendary place is a burger. And maybe a beer or two while you are waiting for it. You might have to tell them to leave stuff off of your burger, because otherwise they put everything on it. At about ten bucks a burger, it is well worth it; you might want to eat it in the bar, or take a trip to the nearby Lemont Quarries, to the NE, if you can find them, and chow down at a scenic spot. People around these parts are really friendly, so don't be shy. Ask about cool places to visit. There are many in the area. If you are a fan of hamburgers, you will definitely not be disappointed. Grilled or raw onion on there, no problem. Note: NO FRIES! CHIPS! It is amazing that this place has put out such a great product for so many decades with a kitchen the size of a walk in closet.
