I love European food and yet the most of the restaurants have disappeared. This is the best of the best I dine here 3 to 4 times a month. Authentic as can be down to the carvings in the ceiling to the imported wood chairs, Great atmosphere and even better food and inexpensive. Thanks Martin and Jerri for having such a wonderful restaurant. If I could give you ten stars I would

Delicious European food, with warm hospitality and generous portions. I took my parents here for dinner and it was perfect for them. While everything was very good, the favorite was the goulash potato pancakes! I didn't read the menu very carefully either, so it was a great surprise to get a pastry at the end of the meal (also very tasty)

This place has a menu typical of local East European delis. Favorite entrees are the standards of roast pork loin; breaded pork tenderloin; sausage combos; duck, etc. It might seem a bit pricey at first, if you have never been to such a place, but for most people, you get at least two meals out of it. The ambience of the place is really cool. I have no idea what this beautiful dining room was, before the current owners took over, but it is absolutely lovely. And it is QUIET, which is important to us. As a previous reviewer noted, Saturday is fried bread day, and that in itself is the cat's meow. Or something. In other words, it is good. Also--something one might not expect from an East European restaurant--the fries here are FANTASTIC. On our two visits, we were here in early afternoon, and practically had the place to ourselves, which we absolutely love. I think the place picks up quite a bit around mid afternoon, so come early. And our waiter, Martin (see photo), was as solicitous and polite as could be. We will definitely be going back here. Oh, and a word to the wise: When you order the breaded tenderloin, USE THE LEMON on it, or at least try it on a piece. It makes a world of difference!

Never have a bad experience here. Staff is always friendly and treat us like family. Food is great and large portions for decent prices. Definitely a family favorite.
