Never have I found a restaurant I love so much. The staff are awesome, the food is great, and the atmosphere feels warm and inviting. Being active duty military, I've been to quite a few places and this tops the bunch. It is the apitomy of a small town restaurant; nothing about its inviting, rustic atmosphere is fake. The food is great and the awesome staff are always trying creative, delicious new monthly and daily specials. On top of that the bar serves great beers that are not on tap anywhere else nearby. Highly recommend the cobb burger, seafood ravioli, or the Portuguese steak.

They have a salad bar that is pretty good. I got a porterhouse the last time we went there and it had a soap flavor to it, kind of like someone washed their hands and then handled the food. They made me a new steak without question that was cooked and tasted perfect. No discount was given because of the issue.

Went here for dinner on a Sunday night. Got a booth seat.I got the 10 oz ribeye and my husband got the 14oz prime rib. Our server was extra nice and quick, food took under 12 minutes. They even serve fresh loaves of bread to the table. Very awesome service and food! We will be back.

I have never been more disappointed in an eating establishment. We were seated right away. Our server, Samantha, came and took our drink order and said she would be back with some bread. She arrived with our drinks but no bread. She proceeded to take our orders. I specifically told her I wanted my filet mignon butterflied because I ordered it well done. The rest of my family ordered as well and Samantha mentioned again she would bring out bread for the table. She came back to refill the drinks but still no bread. I watched her bring bread to all of her other tables but for some reason she just couldn't make it to our table with any. After about 20 minutes, she finally remembers to bring the bread. Once our meals were brought to our tables, I immediately noticed that my steak was not butterflied. I cut into it and it was bloody. It was nowhere near cooked to my specifications. I sent my meal back to be cooked, Samantha returned with my plate with my sides and no steaks saying the "chef" was refiring my steak. Why on earth would you bring out sides but no steak?!? I'm not there to eat just sides. She eventually returned with my steak but now my sides were ice cold. I told her this and at this point her attitude completely changed. She got snippy and said that she would "go ahead and get new sides if she had to". Now my steak is getting cold while I waited 15 minutes for her to bring back mashed potatoes and broccoli. By this time my entire family had completed their meals. My father and husband were both disappointed with their ribeye steaks. They said they were fatty, grisly and had little flavor. On top of a steak house not having a "chef" know how to cook a steak, they actually have the nerve to serve salads that contain romaine lettuce. Don't they know there is an outbreak of e coli that is coming from romaine lettuce!! I was shocked that they do not have the decency to stop serving salads that could make their guests incredibly ill.
