The food here is incredible! Even when the lines are extremely long they move all of us along pretty quickly. They definitely have the process down. We went there one evening to pick up dinner for my son's birthday and I forgot to order the chocolate cake. When I got up to the drive-thru window the cake was ready for us. They didn't charge us and wished my son a happy birthday.

The food is always amazing. Service is fast. The cleaning girl was the only one who greeted us and even said have a great day on our way out. But everything was fine.

The fries are always hot and fresh and the Italian beef is always delicious! So amazing, one of my favorite food places. This location is pretty busy, it is hard to find seating inside on weekends and nights. Highly reccomend.

Atmospheric Chicago dining at its finest. Enjoy famous hot dogs and Italian beefs to some catchy music served by friendly staff. Careful: the beefs tend to already be on the wet side, so if you want that dipped, it's going to be SOAKED! Whether that's a bad thing or not is up to you! The crowds are large but the wait time isn't that bad and you'll usually be able to find a seat. If you're going for the drive-thru, the lines will look long and be long but will actually go very quickly as the staff have it down to a science.

If you want a truly Chicago Italian beef...this is it. Don't be fooled by the rest. Best beef sandwiches ever. My personal favorite is the combo, which it the Itailian beef and an Italian sausage. I add mozzarella and hot peppers...nothing beats it. Only downside is that Portillos is always crowded and there is no handicapped seating. Even the drive thru has a long wait time. It is worth the wait though.
