If i could give this place 6 stars i would. Amazing, authentic mexican food you cant find anywhere else! Not to mention the service - absolutely exceptional. Thats what really put it over the top. The manager and server billy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He suggested i try the signature chocolate mole with plantains and oh man could i bathe in that mole. He really listened to what i was looking for and suggested an amazing dish for me. Not to mention it was my first time and i went alone, but he definitely made me forget i was out alone! I will certainly be back for the food, but also to see my new favorite server billy, who happens to work tuesdays and wednesdays on my days off. Love this hidden gem! Rumor has it that they will be opening for lunch and expanding their menu too, so thats another thing to look forward... Overall best mexican place in skokie from service to food to decor. Dont forget to bring cash and a bottle of wine as it is byob and cash only. Definitely worth the atm trip though..

Couldn't even get a table or a takeout order, turns out their usual clientele makes reservations and do not take walk ins... This place is just too fancy for me I guess

This is a quaint, authentic, byob restaurant. Every dish is fabulous and the service is phenomenal - even with a group of kids they were super patient with us. However, if you are looking for the typical American version of Mexican food which most local places are, this is not the place for you. This is a small, family-run restaurant serving authentic, gourmet cuisine. All 8 adult in our party highly recommend it!

Delicious, quaint, comfortable, authentic and outstanding service. Great flavors rarely matched anywhere in Chicago!

Holy molé! This place is amazing! Camarones ixtapa, chicken montezuma and enchiladas. I've never had molé more authentic outside my mom's kitchen. We will definitely be going back soon.
