Definitely not light on the wallet! The atmosphere seemed very 30s/40s. Very much fine dining at its best! The food is worth the money. Two of us ordered the baked lasagna, one ordered the shells and broccoli, and I ordered the eggplant stack. All the dishes were delicious in their own right! The eggplant was thin and formed into a sandwich with a beefsteak tomato, mozzarella cheese, arugula, and some EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) drizzled on it. Absolutely wonderful! I'd you're in Naperville and looking for a classic atmosphere feel and excellent food, just look to the Rosebud!

Excellent service. I mean excellent. Great menu and great food. Bring an extra credit card in case the bill exceeds your limit. $$$$

I came in 30 minutes before closing time to get a drink and a pizza for takeout after a long day of flying. The female bartender with scummy tattoos on her hand and neck greeted me with a stink face and said “we close in thirty minutes, you know.”. I told her that I just wanted a bite to eat and a beer. After being told that they were out of Budweiser (unbelievable, I know), I asked for a glass of whiskey. She then told me that she couldn’t serve me because I was “slurring” and I was “drunk”. My father then explained to her that I had not had anything to drink that night. She then complied and rushed me to order because she had to close her till. I was born and raised in naperville and this was the worst dining experience I have had there. Horrible service, trashy bartender, great food.

El Dente! The food is so yummy. I found this place searching for how to make pasta in Illionis. They don't teach you but they do feed ya. Who knows if I'll return but I sure enjoyed the food. The staff was nice too but who really cares about that if the food was good. I'll become fat if I return often so I will return at a minimum.
