Not sure if anything changed in management but I am pleased. Service is much better from my past visits. Manager walks around, asked how everything was. Waitress and bartender were great. Great improvement. Domestic drinks back on tap. Missed happy hour by 15 mins but that's ok. The $5 burger hits the perfect spot. Update May 20: Showed up yesterday, majority of the drinks were not on tap, way too overpriced and, our waitress did not add in the happy hour price either. Must say not very pleased with the change especially getting rid of domestic drafts on tap. Shame.

The Park Ridge Houlihan's has continuously decreased in quality since its original manager, Joe, left. When it opened the quality of the service and food was unsurpassed. As a result it was extremely popular. Recent visits have indicated that its popularity has decreased substantially since Joe left. On my last visit I ordered a large milk stout to start with. After a substantial delay the waitress brought a beer in a snifter glass. I told her that that sure was not the large beer I ordered. She left and returned with the bartender who explained that the high alcohol content of the breakfast stout that was brought out required that it be served in a snifter. I said I ordered a large milk stout, not a breakfast stout which I had never heard of. I am still amazed that the bartender and waitress both thought that it was acceptable to simply bring a different beer than had been ordered. My wife subsequently talked with the manager who apparently saw nothing wrong with the way the order was handled. It will be a long time before I go back to this establishment.

Always a great experience at this Houlihans! Fast service, lovely people, and lots of seating especially in summer when the patio is open.

Slow service. Food took 45+ minutes on a Tuesday evening in a slow restaurant. On top of it, the food for half the table was prepared incorrectly. Skip this chain for literally ANYTHING else!

Bartender was very bored with being there. Not sure if he was training another bartender or didn't know how to make drinks, but 4 of us ordered and had to wait for another gentleman to make drinks even though we were the only ones at the bar. My sangria was made with seltzer??? Dinner and the service were mediocre. We have dined here often as we have family in Park Ridge, but definitely has declined through the years...
