Very peaceful when I was here. The sushi and sashimi was excellent. Didnt take a pic because I was eating it. Its a place to go to relax or have fun.

One of my favorite dive bar sushi joints. Good prices on food and drinks and fresh sushi.

Wow!! I will start by saying i eat Sushi about 1-2 times a week, so i think I'm pretty accustomed to Sushi and its freshness. So let's start on this little dump. Will definitely never be coming back here again. After being mocked for the entire 20min by the old lady behind the counter for mispronouncing Nigiri apparently. Who coincidentally didnt even know what i was asking for when i asked for Nigiri instead of Sashimi and had to ask the chef. All while she stood there and hand picked corn off a cob shoving it by hand into her mouth right above where my food was being prepared, as she prepared food for pickup orders. Now let's get into the actuall food. The roll (love and kiss I think) I got was absolutely dreadfull, fish was warm tasted old, and the cruch was soft and disgusting. I ended up just throwing it away. The Nigiri i got was God awful. It was very very thin cut, warm and definitely not fresh. Then I was given albacore which I didnt order but figured I'd gotten a bonus 2 pieces, which normally love... Nope. It stunk like rotten fish. Somehow a $10 lunch special and a $10 roll turned into a $38 bill, which she was shocked and actually asked if i was forgetting to tip her, on a pickup order. I dont know how this place can stay open and have such high reviews. This is the 3rd time I've been there (because it's really close to one of my worksites) and it's been nothing but a disappointing experience everytime. Theres a few places on 183rd and Harlem which have absolutely amazing Sushi. I suggest to go there. It's well wort the extra 8min drive.

Delicious, very fresh, friendlies staff you'll come across, and happy hour specials to delight any taste. The owner is always so sweet to greet us when we come in and she's there. I'm the type of customer that shops small when I can, even more when the quality and service are better than chains. This place is a great example of shopping small. You will not be disappointed. Even my picky eater kids have their favorites from this sushi place, so that tells you something about their flavors. Great store.
