Always tasty food and friendly service. We love the canoli desert. The wine selection is great and we love the wood fired pizza. The takeout menu offers a monthly special that is always a solid deal and contains a ton of food. I've been going here for years and have only had good experiences.

I wish I could give zero. New owner has destroyed the place. Food sucks.. we brought out of town guests and we all were disappointed. If the owner wants us back, they need to improve the food quality or get a new chef.

It's wonderful to enjoy a nice, slow, pleasant meal with friends and family. And, were it left only to the food, Affresco would be just the ticket. My gnocchi with Sicilian red pesto was something I've never encountered before. The combination of flavors was a complete, and wonderful surprise, even given a long life of enjoying Italian-American foods. As well, my wife's calamari was tender, perfectly coated and fried. Others in our party had similar comments about the taste of their food. This would be a 5 star review if left to that alone, especially considering the outdoor seating and being dog-friendly. But, food was delivered at a glacial pace. Our initial drinks order included wine, which took a full twenty minutes and a repeated request before it was brought to the table. A cup of requested coffee, ordered at the same time as the wine, was never delivered. Food came at a glacial pace, if I were to guess, over an hour. I'm not sure whose fault these glitches are: our waiter, who seemed disinterested in serving us, the kitchen, or both. Others who arrived around the same time as us waited for their food as long or longer. Some of the staff seemed warm, cordial and interested. Others, not so much. Nothing could have diminished the pleasure of being with our dining partners. But, however good the food was (excellent), the service detracted from it. Perhaps the kitchen was short-staffed? That doesn't explain undelivered items or indifferent waiters. Would we go back? If it were just the food, being dog-friendly, and outdoor atmosphere, yes, in a heartbeat. But, based on the service, I'm not so sure.

Salad dressing was way over dressed. Easy back on dressing or better yet put it on side and then to each their own. Food was darn good, garlicky, rich, and filling. Just qhat i was expecting. Well done.

Nice atmosphere on out door patio. Good service, but the calamari was a bit rubbery.
