The beef tenderloin burger was delectably moist and juicy! I opted to let Chef Dustin cook it to his perfection and I was not disappointed. I chose a beet side salad and the flavors exploded in my mouth. A deep rich milk stout washed it all down. Fantastic service as always that came with a warm smile. It’s always a foodgasmic experience!

When I came to Edge on google, I was actually surprised I hadn't written a review yet. Edge is one of my husband's and my favorite restaurants in Peoria. We come here for any major event or holiday. The first time we came was just because we wanted to try somewhere new. We live about 45 minutes away but eat in Peoria often. We were coming on a Tuesday night, not a normal night but to celebrate our one year of being engaged. We called in advance to book a table, although for a Tuesday it was quite unnecessary. However, we really wanted to try the Tasting menu, so we figured we better warn the chef in advance. It was pretty empty at 6pm on a Tuesday, but that was great for us. Our server was detail oriented and served us drinks immediately. We let her know we were there for the tasting menu and she explained that basically the chef comes up with 5 plates to serve us, all decided that night. She asked what things we dislike or have allergies to. I said we like everything and have no allergies, but I don't love olives. Every plate was AMAZING. I also got the Wine tasting with the meal, which you can opt to do or not. My husband just got a few old fashioneds. I love having wine brought based on the food, as I am often a one type of wine gal. 4 of the dishes were savory, and the final was a dessert. We had salmon grilled cheese, a very neat salad, a type of pork dish, and a type of fish dish. The dessert was a lemon mousse type of thing. I am not giving them their due diligence, but it really didn't matter as all were fantastic. The best part was at the end of the meal, Chef Dustin came to our table to explain how he came up with some of the dishes. It felt so personable to hear from him and we really appreciated it. I walked out of there a little wine drunk and declared it my new favorite restaurant in Peoria.

The food was legitimately amazing, as was the overall dining experience. However, our experience leaving was frustrating enough to keep us from returning. We left cash in the book (with a 25% tip to boot) and headed out, but instead of acknowledging our gratitude and goodnight the server went speeding to the table to make sure we left money - blowing us off... Having worked extensively in food service I understand that some customers are not pleasant, and some walk out. But when the customers pick up on a server's s assumption of this being the case it makes you feel completely unwanted and provides no reason to return. Thank you, chef, for the amazing dinner. Please work with your staff on customer stereotyping, it's off-putting at best.

Most every thing was great except for the chicken. It was well seasoned but for $26.00 I expect a better piece of the chicken than just a fatty leg and thigh. Everything else was great though. Probably won't be back.

Stopped by recently in the new location and was stunned by the new design. From the moment you step in, you expect a thoughtful and refined dining experience... And Dustin and the wait staff don't disappoint!
