The 3 chick plates were good. Good staff, good service, good stuff. We will be returning to Slim Chicken again you should check it out.

Love this place. Great chicken tenders, and really good sauce choices. They also have desserts in Mason jars, which I recommend - you may want to size down one tender in order to make room for it!

The food was good. I just had the 3-piece tenders basket. The chicken and fries were fresh and hot. My spouse had chicken and waffles. He said it was okay, but he was still a bit hungry after. For a lunch it was quick and filling for me. Slightly pricey, but for an occasional thing, not too bad. Their lemonade is good. My spouse had their sweet tea and said it was not sweet. We would go again on the every so often lunch date.

It's dangerous that this place is right around the corner from my work, I usually end up going once a week for lunch (and I don't always take a lunch and some days I bring my own.) The tenders are crispy and fresh, not greasy at all. Haven't tried a wing flavor I didn't like. Their signature sauce is interesting. Simple menu with different serving sizes and mixed options. Salads, sandwiches, wings and/or tenders plus desserts. They make their tea and lemonade in house and both are good. If you're looking for great "fast" food in Champaign give it a try.

I eat here more than any man rightfully should. The chicken fingers are always cooked to order, and occasionally absurdly hot (that's a good thing). Great selection of sauces, but let's be honest, the Slim's Sauce is why we eat here. Try the jar desserts if the chicken itself doesn't completely do you in, or burn the skin off the roof of your mouth.
