Amazing food and spectacular service. We were celebrating a friend's new job and upcoming relocation for said new job. Udupi Palace let us bring in a cake and gave us clean plates and utensils. After cake, we hangout for over an hour after paying the check and the staff continued to keep our water glasses full and in no way made us feel unwelcome. Highly recommended! One important note: the Schaumburg location does NOT have a liquor license and does not permit BYOB.

Called ahead and person on phone said they were open till 10. Made the drive out and got there almost 20 minutes before closing time and they would not serve us. What a waste of time !!! Who stops service 20 minutes before closing time? Don't say you are open till 10 if you won't take customers in. Food is usually decent here, however the customer service is non existent.

Love this place! Vegan options and the staff is super friendly. Restaurant is located right in the heart of Chicago's Devon St.

Good variety of dishes in the buffet. It was very tasty. The staff was very attentive.

NEVER EAT AT THIS PLACE. Horrible Experience. Everything about this place is bad. Maintenance, staff, FOOD especially. Items served in the buffet looked like leftovers from previous day. I got a COCKROACH in masala Dosa; and when I showed it to the staff he just took my plate and went into the kitchen and came back and continued cleaning the tables. That's how much they care about what they are serving to their customers.
